Glazed Donut Lip Balm smells fresh from the oven. Sugary buttermilk aroma and warm, pillowy soft delicious baked donuts topped with a melted waterfall glaze.
Lip balm can soothe dry or chapped lips, and also protect the delicate skin of your mouth from harsh temperatures and other factors that could irritate the tissue. When choosing something that will go on your lips, you want to make the best choice. Many of the lip balms that stores carry are full of petroleum and other nasties that no one wants on their mouth. Let's face it, we lick our lips. With our lip balms, you don't have to worry.
First of all, our Lip Balm is a great product to use year-round. Your lips will be soft, smooth, hydrated and moisturized as a result of the combination of oils and beeswax we have used in our recipe. These lip balms will never get gritty like many handmade balms can do as a result of melting and crystallization. If our lip balm melts, simply pop in in the fridge until solid and it will remain smooth.
The oils used to create our lip-smacking goodness are lightweight and leave your lips moisturized and smooth. Many oils actually aid in drying out the lips.
What is in our Lip Balms?
We have added Jojoba oil for extra moisturization. Jojoba oil is so beneficial for lip care because it is rich in fatty acids and known to be the closest oil to what our bodies naturally produce. Jojoba oil also acts as a barrier to protect your lips from the wind and cold temperatures. It protects them from dry, indoor heat, which can make lips rough and uncomfortable.
Another great oil in our lip balms is Avocado Oil. This oil is known to great for dry skin & LIPS. It contains fatty acids that help to enhance your skin's natural appearance. In Lip balm, it basically comes down to moisturizing dry or chapped lips.
Then there was Castor Oil. No lip balm is complete without the smooth glossy feeling you get as you glide the balm over your tired cracked lips. Thankfully it offers more than just a feeling. While castor oil does add to the gloss of lip balms, it also helps chapped lips. Castor oil is thick, filled with rich ingredients. When it is mixed with other oils several ingredients are added to the oil thus making it an ultra-hydrating moisturizer.
The skin on your face is very different from the skin on your lips. The skin on the lips is very delicate and requires great attention. Due to the harsh weather, when cold winds touch your skin on the lips, it soon gets dried out as our lips do not have any kind of natural oil-producing glands. Scrub Butter to the rescue!
